I opened all my moldings and cracks and placed the earth into them and closed it all back up .Hopefully the apartment will be bedbug unfriendly in the future incase another tenant ends up bringing them back into the apartment house . It is an old building and will be hard to kill them all off as they spread through almost every level, Before laying the diotomaceous earth I used a product called Bed Bug bully that kills the bugs in 34 seconds which was fairly priced and effective. I will not move into another place without laying the diotomaceous earth in and around the front door and in every crack and cubby I can find .I really do not want to ever go through this trial again.Unfortunately the bed bug problem is only increasing in North America ,as well as Britain and Australia also. Thanks for all the great information.The world needs to realize how bad this plague is becoming to better safeguard ourselves from getting bedbugs.
